Controlling the temperature of a tank script description:
Controlling the temperature of a tank is a Matlab script for Chemistry and Physics scripts design by Housam Binous.
It runs on following operating system: Windows / Linux / Mac OS / BSD / Solaris. Controlling the temperature of a tank uses Simulink to control temperature of a tank filled with water
Publisher review: Controlling the temperature of a tank uses Simulink to control temperature of a tank filled with water We would like to rise water temperature with a heater. Oulet temperature must be equal to the set point temperature (80°C). Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control is used. Inlet water temperature is equal to 20°C. Water flow is equal to 10 m3/hr. Tank volume is equal to 100 m3. Water density and heat capacity are 1 Kg/m3 and 4.19 KJ/(Kg °C).The heater and the temperature measurement device have a first order delay with a time constant equal to respectively 1 and 2. Initial heat input and tank temperature are equal to 2500 KJ/hr and 0°C. This problem is solved using Berkeley-Madonna in Chemical Engineering Dynamics by J. Ingham et al. (second edition, Wiley-VCH, 2000).The solution using Simulink is presented in this page. Sensor temperature lags slightly behind tank temperature. PID control gives best control with no offset and quickly damped oscillations. P, PI and PID control could be tested by simple changes of the PID block parameters. Operating system: Windows / Linux / Mac OS / BSD / Solaris
After criticism received at Metro version of Internet Explorer 10 , initially offered no support for Adobe Flash technology, Microsoft has taken measures to correct this problem by working directly with Adobe to integrate the necessary components into the
Last year began to circulate on the Internet videos where Windows 8 systems boot in 7 seconds. Unfortunately, from this performance derives some problems.
New information coming from some sources close to Apple confirming that the Cupertino giant is testing two different models of iPhone, called internal iPhone5, 1 and iPhone 5.2. Apparently, both devices have a screen of 3.95 inches and a resolution of 113
Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
